Who is Abby Lee?
At the age of 12, Abby found her purpose.
Feeling down about her current broken family system, Abby identified her purpose in life was to help others.
She soon began a self discovery journey on how best to serve herself and others by saving up all of her money and traveling the world. It wasn't until college, studying Public Relations and Psychology at University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, where she met a cultural studies professor who enlightened her on joining the Peace Corps. Abby began the two-year-long application process and a year after graduating with honors from college, while living in Seattle, Washington, she was accepted in to the Peace Corps. She departed for the small, landlocked, Eastern European country of Macedonia where she served as an English Teacher in the poorest region of the country for two and a half years. While there, she learned the native language and partnered with local organizations to hold free Positive Psychology courses for the public, free English classes for adults, facilitated personal development courses at an all boys camp, created a leadership group for young women called Girls Leading Our World (GLOW), taught yoga and meditation, and learned an immense amount about the people and history of the Balkans Region (a place she originally knew nothing about)
She continued her passion to help others by moving to the Big Island of Hawaii to work for a Wilderness Therapy program for at-risk teenagers. During this time she deepend her yoga, meditation, and life coaching practice to work with those who are highly sensitive and anxious to all of the stimulation and difficulties in our world.
Through these travels and experiences, she gained the confidence and inspiration to help others live a life full of joy, fulfillment and happiness. She believes the best way to help others find their inner peace like she has found for herself is through facilitating Life Coaching, Yoga, and Meditation.
If you’re lucky, you might get to hear a story of her drinking Egyptian tea under the stars of the Sahara Desert, sleeping inside ancient caves of central Turkey, hiking through deserted mountainous lands with nomadic tribes in Western Mongolia, or chatting with locals in Russian on the Trans Siberian Railway… but once the coaching and yoga begins, it’s all about YOU.
So let’s get started :)
